Summer Institute Sponsorship Opportunities
Support NCSMA’s Summer Institute!
NCSMA’s Summer Institute (N.C. Scholastic Media Institute) brings advisers and student journalists from across the state to UNC-Chapel Hill for three days of community, collaboration and preparation for the upcoming year. Students and advisers participate in sessions related to broadcast journalism, literary magazine, yearbook, design, photojournalism, newspaper/online news and advising student media.
NCSMA offers several sponsorship opportunities for the annual Summer Institute. Sponsors must complete form below.
Sponsors may participate in one of these two ways:
- Full-page Ad + Exhibit*: $500
- Half-page Ad, no Exhibit: $250
*Exhibits will take place 5-7 p.m. on the first day of the Institute in Kenan Football Stadium’s Blue Zone and will include one parking pass.
Other opportunities for sponsorship include:
- Co-Sponsor Adviser Breakfast: $500
- Co-Sponsor Adviser Luncheon: $1,000
- Co-Sponsor Opening Day Dinner at Blue Zone: $1,500
- Co-Sponsor Closing Awards Luncheon at Carolina Club: $1,500
Co-Sponsorship of one of the NCSMI meals includes one parking pass (for up to two individuals) and a 15-minute opportunity to address the audience. Sponsors may choose only one co-sponsorship opportunity. Only one co-sponsorship will be available per meal on a first-come, first-served basis. (See form below.)

• Full-page ad (8.5 x 11) or half-page ad (8.5 x 5.5) is due to ncsma@unc.edu by June 1. Ads can be black-and-white or color and should be submitted in PDF format.
