Regional Workshops
NCSMA divided North Carolina into eight geographic regions. Workshops are held in various regions annually. Advisers and students are welcome to attend any regional workshop.
Fall 2024 Update: NCSMA regional workshops will be co-hosted with universities and newspapers across the state. Advisers and students are encouraged to register. Registration opens Sept. 1.

The Queens University Knight School of Communication notified NCSMA on Aug. 28 that the Knight School is canceling this workshop. We apologize for this inconvenience and ask that you and your students consider attending one of the three other regional workshops.

UNC Asheville
UNC Asheville is currently closed at least through Oct. 28 in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Western NC Media Day set for Oct. 31 is, therefore, canceled.
